Say goodbye to long GP appointment queues

Need healthcare advice without the hassle of waiting for a GP appointment? Enjoy the convenience of accessing NHS treatment without having to see your GP first by visiting your pharmacy first.

The “Pharmacy First” service launched by the NHS allows you to access advice and treatments for seven minor conditions through your pharmacy. The expert pharmacists at Cohens Chemist are clinically trained to provide these treatments:

  1. Earache (children aged 1 year to 17 years)
  2. Sinusitis (adults and children aged 12 years and over)
  3. Sore throat (adults and children aged 5 years and over)
  4. Infected insect bites (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
  5. Impetigo (adults and children aged 1 year and over)
  6. Shingles (adults aged 18 years and over)
  7. Uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women (women aged 16 to 64 years)
