Did you know that as many as five million people are undiagnosed with high blood pressure in the UK?
High blood pressure causes strain on your blood vessels, which can lead to the narrowing of the vessels, blood clots and an increased risk of heart disease.
Patients eligible for this service:
- If you are aged 40 years or older and you do not currently take blood pressure medication.
- If you are aged between 35 and 40 and have a recognised family history of hypertension.
- If you have been referred by your GP for the measurement of blood pressure.
This appointment will take approximately 10 minutes.
